If such a modified car became a trade-in candidate it wouldn't surprise me if the Lexus dealer totally rejected it, or diminished the car's value by a very substantial amount... If the car is a lease - heaven forbid!

I don’t have to worry about that. I own my GS, and I also don’t lease cars.

That's smart that you own the car! But, are you not concerned that if you decide to trade the [modified] car at a Lexus dealership they will view it as immeasurably flawed?

I closed the moonroof, as I will not be driving it for a few days. I need to get an oil change next month. It has been a year, but only 4000 miles, since the last service.

no not concern. Because all I have to do is swap over the connectors and you’ll never know. I didn’t cut any wires. And second I wouldn’t trade it in to a dealer. All my cars I’ve owned I sold without a loss by selling them as a private seller. I’ve always made money.

no errors at all. And I got a insane deal on the lights. Only paid $550

Wow! That's an astonishing accomplishment! Where do you find these foolish victims?

Washed it. It's cold as balls out here, slightly above freezing. Fortunately (not really) the sun was warming things up a little. The problem is, the angle of the sun allowed me to see how incredibly scratched my car is. I don't have time to take a polisher to the whole thing. I will say this, this "self-healing" paint is a crock of ****. These are very fine scratches that should heal themselves, presumably, but nope. I love the USB color, wouldn't trade it for anything, but I do remember how easy it was to clean silver, and forget about it. Oh well. At least I got all the salt off of it. Merry Christmas.

Its been raining like crazy today. I had to go by the post office, so took the GS out. Haven't really ran the car hard in the rain before to try out the awd. Its my first awd car and its alot of fun in the rain. Just being at the light and flooring it, the car just shoots off the line with no wheel spin or slipping, its pretty awesome!

Great looking GS! I'm still reeling after picking mine up Dec. 5th. Definitely a "December to Remember"!

Xpel*

Full vehicle? Full hood? Quarter hood?

Xpel is pretty solid stuff. Hope it helps your vehicle's paint out in the long run - definitely was a smart decision to put it on mine when I first got it since small road debris/pebbles love to fling from underneath cars/trucks on many Texas highways.
