2013 GS350 Nav issue

Hi,

When using my navigation it keeps telling me to get off the highway and take back roads. I can get on the highway and the Nav will tell me to get off and ride the feeder. How do I get this to turn off?

From the Menu go into Navigation Settings and there's a setting somewhere that says to avoid highways. See if that option is selected.

Traffic avoidance may play into this also. I've never had it work right but I think it's in that same menu. You may need a nav update if you're in a '13 that's never had one. Not cheap, but good for Texas.

I will check that out too and thanks for he reply. I am trading the 2013 GS350 in this Dec. Thinking about buying or leasing the GX...looks pretty cool and the flooding in Houston has been bad.

If you're in the Austin area, that's the only way to get around.

Well I reset the NAV back to defaults and the route it chose was the feeder vs the highway....very frustrating! Nothing else is checked e.g. avoid highways or traffic...
