I was able to fit a boxed LG 50" TV in the back seat easily, did not try the trunk.

I am very surprised to see someone has been able to fit a boxed 50 inch television in the back seat. I have a 51 inch tv and there is absolutely no way it would fit in the back seat or trunk when it is boxed. It barely fit in the back seat of a relative's Honda Pilot (keeping it upright). It is a plasma TV though, so it may have extra padding due to the glass screen that LED/LCD tvs do not neet.

ya i got a LED 50" that is pretty darn skinny. i could have fit it in the backseat easily but my interior islight grey so i put it in the trunk. only about 2" was sticking out and i tied the trunk down. drove it 4 miles home.

got a 55 inch TV in trunk with twine to tie down the trunk top. Almost fit in the back seat but not quite.
