Hey guys. Bought the apexi throttle controller used from a member on here. I was able to install but having trouble programming it. 1st question: do i have to reprogram it since the other member already programmed it? 2nd question i tried to follow the directions. I held onto the bottom button until it flashed blue. Then i pushed the accellerator all the way and held it. Then i pressed the top button until it flashed red. Then i let go of it and then waited 25 secs until the white flashing light stopped then released the pedal. When i turn the engine on it idles at a high rpm. What am i doing wrong? Thank you

 

Reset it by taking it off and put it back on. When it flashes white press and hold the "." button and don't touch the gas pedal. Its gonna flash blue then back to white. Then press and hold "..." while stepping on the gas all the way down till the button flashes red then back to white. After a couples seconds it'll turn off, then you're good to go. And if you wanna set the controller to turn on with the car, set which color you wanna drive in and turn off the car. Put the car into the "ON" position while pushing down on the "." it should blink a couple times and then turn on the car and you're good to go. If you wanna change it to another mode or off when you turn on the car, repeat the steps. Im in OC if you need help.

 

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it whenever going to the dealer with out re-programming. I could hit the top button and the last mode I used would still be saved. Are you programing this while the car is in the on position or enging on? The engine should NOT be turn on when programing.
