Default Removing rear armrest console

Hey folks

New member and 2013 gsh owner from Canada. Looking forward to fun Canadian winters in this vehicle...

For now I was wondering if there is a quick diy to take off / remove the center armrest console controls in the luxury package? I have a very nosy and curious toddler who loves pushing buttons and im afraid he might destroy the buttons in the armrest

not sure.. but why not just fold up the armrest so the controls are not reachable?

I seem to recall there is an option on the main console to disable the rear arm rest controls. That of course would not stop a toddler from pressing buttons. Not just toddlers, I've had adults do the same.

Staples (and extensive use of duct tape).

For real, I don't know brother. Might be easier to just put mittens on the kid.
