Anybody have any pics with 22 inch rims on it? My rim guy said it'll look perfect, dont know if he actually means it or just wants me to get them bc its the last set he has left

this.
You'd be rubbing left and right on 22s. You would have to run very thin tires, in order to make the 22s work.
I would not do it, 22s would look great on a bigger car, such as LS or a CUV.
I'm not into that look at all. I think 22's would be way too big. They may fit but you loose a lot of functionality. I could only imagine what would happen if even the littlest of pot holes was hit.

Well your tire guy was right about one thing "it'll LOOK perfect" but forgot to mention the hell you will go through if you decide to actually drive the car especially if you are thinking or dropping the car.
I also wanted 22's and did my research 20's is definitely the way to go. Plus don't donk a GS that is just criminal

Like everyone above me has said. Don't do it. The tire guy is just trying to dump his last set on you. I have 20" wheels with no drop and ride isn't that great. I don't even want to imagine what riding on 22's would be like. Plus if you live in an area with a lot of potholes I definitely do not recommend anything more than 20 inches.
