I can't believe that the dealer delivered it in such bad shape. They must have put a newbie on this to scratch the paint so badly. It looks like they picked up a rag from off the ground and just started washing the car with it.

I am glad my car doesn't have this problem. Actually it has the best finish I've seen on a new car. I will be using Zaino products to keep it that way as I have always had good results with their waxes and sealants.

Good luck with your car as it does look great!

I put CQuartz on my GS and love it. Be sure to use a proper, multiple bucket wash technique, and you should be good to go.

Good to hear. I usually use my foam nozzle and a bucket or water to clean my wash mit in between panels. I am trying

There is no such thing as no swirls on the paint of any car.. All cars have it... Just some colors of the cars hide it better then others. Also paint correcting is a myth. Its basically wet sanding the paint which in fact destroys the paint even more by sanding out the top layer... Just don't buy a black car if you are OCD about swirls....

To each his own. Clear coat polishing/paint correction removes a minuscule amount of clear coat which in turns removes the swirls and scratches that are ruining your finish. I purchased this car CPO which I know for a fact the previous owner did not care for the finish as much as I am, so the key is starting with a perfect canvas and hoping that my attention to detail along with the cquartz and XPel will give the car a lot more life. Paint correction is in no way a myth though, nor is it just a coverup. It is all about how you maintain the vehicles finish AFTER the correction that determines how long it will last.

There are many comps out there I found via google, but to be honest, I chose cquartz because it was cheaper. If it sucks then lesson learned for sure

I have OptiCoat on my RX (and previous IS) and CQuartz on my GS.

I have a slight preference towards CQuartz. I find it leaves the surface a bit smoother and with slightly better gloss. I still like OptiCoat, but the surface is slightly less slick. It has held up very well, though.

I am a firm believer in paint coatings. Both OptiCoat and CQuartz are great, in my opinion.
