Default Bouncing off the limiter

The weirdest thing happened the other day... While merging onto a highway (in sport, automatic) while in 2nd gear I let off the accelerator for a split second then got back on it. Once I was at WOT the car bounced off the limiter and didn't shift until I let off the accelerator again. Then the GS carried along its merry way through the gears. What gives.

I've had that happen a few times...wasn't sure why it happened. Idk your experience, but when my car finally shifts, the shift is harsh. I've notified the dealer but they and myself weren't able to recreate it, so no fix.

Same happened to me. Didn't know why and I wasn't even on the gas that hard. I checked to make sure I didn't hit pedal shifters and that it was in D and not D2 or something. I hit the pedal shifter to switch up a gear than took it out of sport. Couldn't get it to do it again though...

I can't remember if it hard shifted or not but it sure was unnerving. When it happened I asked my sister who was in the car if she felt it. She just looked at me and was like huh? What?
