SoCal Floods how's the GS?
So far so good. I've driven through almost a foot of water without a hitch. I didn't lower the car, sometimes the 4x4 (gap) look has it's benefits. :)
How's the GS U-Boats treating you? |
Its been fine in Brea/Yorba Linda/Placentia area. No flooding streets for the wife to deal with in the GS.
Santa Ana on the other hand... flooded streets everywhere. Good thing I'm in the DD Prius because I doubt my Hamann front spliter would handle being submerged as I drive. |
All good so far here in San Diego too.

so bad in santa ana hahaha

Only negative thing about the rain (although we really need it), I completely detailed my car (interior and exterior) a week before the dump. Now my car looks like it drove the dump.

Some of the flooded areas look like the toilets got backed up.
Nasty. Watch for floating Baby Ruths. |

my GS is made out of sugar. I don't drive it in the rain. I did drive my fusion from huntington beach to thousand oaks yesterday and that was a hot mess of a commute.

My daily commute from La Costa to Downtown San Diego the past two days had been fun with my AWD 13GS350. I have been driving 10-15mph faster than everybody else and going through the lower part of La Jolla with a few inches of standing water on the left lane this morning was like being in a pretty steady 4wd PU truck. The car is fun to drive but I am ready to ditch my OEM Dunlops it came with the lux model. Never buy these tires!
