lexus is treating the gs like a neglected stepchild

All of these enhancements and because they've chosen not to have foglight they're treating the GS like a neglected stepchild? Thats a little harsh.

No foglight on M Sport BMWs, no foglights on high end Audis, MB S Classes, etc. Its not unheard of.

Since we don't get fogs they should at least make the triple LEDs headlights standard on all GS. Not that cheap looking headlights. Not even LED turn signals!!!

As a lexus fan, I support them (but don't defend them on everything), but s/t the things lexus do.

I'm agreeing with others who do want them and lexus isn't even offering it.

Me personally, I don't really care for foglights. It wasn't a deal breaker for me.

^^ Now you know why the GS F Sport doesn’t have them.. Follow the leaders..!!!
That case was made to me by a Lexus insider.

^^ I don't think that’s the point here ?? They should at least offer the product to be a part of the cars packaging.
Just like they do with the RC350 F Sport -> some have it & some don't.

Instead they choose, to eliminate it entirely from the US parts database.. That’s my point / problem.

They carried this methodology into the New IS as well..

If you want to affect change don't buy the cars. People have been complaining about this for years, doesn't change anything.

but regular and fposrt in japan have fogs, why?

the cars you listed, do they have fogs anywhere outside of the US? if not then you are not stating a correct argument.

it is what it is, i agree, but i would never for a second back down from the argument on lexus decision on cost cutting measure. and if that becomes any reason for people to not voice it out, then no cars would have improvements, ever. lexus is simply not good in listening to customers, i take it as a fact. i am in focus group with mb and bmw, they care a lot more about what customers think and they actually make decent changes accordingly. i don't see it as much on lexus

If I buy this car, the first thing I'll do is put the wheels on craigslist or ebay.

Actually we're Passionate About Lexus..

The new 13'+ GS & 14'+ IS "F Sport" Packaged models are the first Lexus models where Fog Lamps were eliminated in the USA & Canada.
(maybe a few other regions)

Completely unnecessary to do it , when the origin Country Japan still includes them in the JDM line up.
