Yep, thinking I would do the g2 caliper paint in red....

 

I've done my own and with patience you can get great results.

If you decide to go the pro route. Check out Mike the powdercoater.

 

Beautiful car how much are you paying for this? I got quoted around $100 extra for crafted line when it came out compared to the regular colors. LoL I was like what? Plus CL msrp was lower than my cars msrp so that $100 extra was insane just to be driving a CL GS

 

I thought it was about the same as a similarly equipped f sport...

You do get a pretty sweet set of tumi luggage and a meguiars car wash kit that was at least 100 bucks by itself....

The luggage was about 800 bucks

 

I really love and dig the Crafted line Fsport GS. I was originally going to get this car, but I found out they don't come with Mark Levinson, so I opted out and ended up buying a Ultra White/Cabernet GS 350 Fsports instead.

 

They don't come with ML?

I did my caliper myself too.

 

That looks really good...what paint did you use...and is that a decal or stencil....I put decales that look just like that on my non painted calipers, but wouldn't mind doing a stencil when I paint

 

I used this. One can is good for all 4 calipers and still have some left over. Mine are decals too.

 

I was thinking about using the brush on to avoid overspray....

 

No no, don't brush it, spray will give u better and more even coats. If u brush it, it will have lines. Just mask everything before u start spraying.

 

I love my CL...I have seen all the other model CL's on the road here in DFW, except for another GS. The red accenting and stitching of the interior was really the reason I fell in love with this car when I saw it. Not too much red and very tastefully done. You also get a nice Meguiar's car cleaning kit along with the Tumi luggage sent to you.

 

All i have seen on the road here in DFW is another CL IS, maybe I should drive more now. Love this car!

Same here, lol.. I know there was another Crafted GS at Park Place Lexus Plano before I bought mine. Do you have any mods on the car?

 

That's where I bought mine...

It's bone stock, tint is 30% up front and 20% on the rear....I also put the f sport decals on the front calipers, and I think I might paint them red....
