Why oh why would anyone renew Enform
Today Lexus made me an offer I could refuse
Your renewed subscription will include: Lexus Enform - Safety Connect • Automatic Collision Notification • Stolen Vehicle Location† • Emergency Assistance Button • Enhanced Roadside Assistance Lexus Enform - Destinations • Destination Assist • eDestination Renewing your Lexus Enform Safety Connect and Destinations services for one-year costs just $281.46 It is a shame Enform simply doesn't do more. It isn't worth $100 to me. Sure wish Lexus gave us more in the package. |
I agree that it isn't really worth paying for what they give you, but if you have a 2015, it also includes Enform Remote. I wish Lexus would give a longer trial period. I wonder how many people actually renew this...

I usually only subscribe to the Safety Connect service. The Destinations package is not really useful for me.
I get a discount with my insurance company for the Stolen Vehicle Location and the Automatic Collision Notification service and Emergency Assistance Button is just for piece of mind. |

Do u need to give them the proof of this service to get the discount?

I tell my insurance that I have Safety Connect when I first sign up the car. When it expires, I don't tell them and they keep giving me the discount.
Enform Remote allows you to lock, unlock, start the car, locate the car, set alerts for parameters on the car, and get info about the car on an app on your phone. |

My insurance did. They asked for a copy of the paid invoice.

Do they take the trial one? Cause it depends on how much discount u get a year Vs. the expensive service cost. May not be worth it.

Hmmm, what about the applications such as Slacker, Pandora, yelp, etc.. isnt that part of the package too or do we get to keep those without bonus fee's?

Awesome, they can keep their safety connect! I think I'll survive out there..
And the destination assist is cool to dazzle passengers and all, but normally I just use my cell and voice search, then let the car navigate for me over the speakers and map screen, just like Destination assist minus the phone call and waiting for someone else to input my search! I am going to have to agree for $281 this is a no brainer to refuse, am I missing something else here?!! |
