First off, I Google'd and searched quite a bit and didn't find an answer.

The lights on the bottom of the side mirrors looks crappy, every light on the car seems to be LED or high quality looking....then you have those cheap looking lights come on when you approach the car.

I was going to just order LED replacements, but I was thinking of replacing with the lights that project Lexus on the ground. On search it kept bringing up the projection lights for the light on the bottom of the door, not in the mirror.

Has anyone replaced the mirror lights with those or have any advice on the matter? A link to a light that would work?

Can't really mount those projectors since the lens isn't clear on the mirror. The best you can do is an LED. Basically can use any LED, just choose really bright ones.

 

I have those LEDs in the puddles and door panels.
Used that LED in every Lexus model I've had.
Great LED bulbs.

 

I changed out mine - definitely go VLED flanks over Sylvanias - the Sylvanias aren't that bright.

Someone needs to put a small 15W HID in there just to be insane.
