Oops, I need a new rear bumper

Of the Sewell cost is a $172 shipping fee. Painted part cost is around $646 plus shipping of $172. To ship back and restock fee the cost would be the same as the new. Also concern about whether any minor damage to mounts underneath. From the outside no way to tell and could add complications to a DIY. I am leaning towards the new bumper by the shop, $300 is a small price for a $60k+ vehicle. Also, forgot the $59 cost for the rear bumper appliqué. Shop quotes include, Sewell DIY does not. Just need to figure out insurance implications. Looks like I will be held partially responsible for the other vehicle which probably had $2500 damage. (Parking lot accident.)

Yeah, for only $300 savings, I'd be inclined to go that way too...
