I tried to wait but the truck look was killing me, I lowered it and vinyled the front bumper gotta wait tell next month to do foglights. Sadly it's pouring here so this will be the best for now.
I have added new pics as many were asking for a better front pic so here you all go.

Looking really good.. sheesh that stance is perfect!!

What springs did you use and how much drop? Did you install it all your self, including the vinyl?

I'm on coilovers that work with our avs. I had a shop where I do all my work at they also did the vinyl which they did way better than other shops I have been too.

I think you were alot lower before. Did you raise the height?

sydtoosic Dec 6, 2014 07:28 PM

hold up... (tires screeching) when did you switch? i see you... nice color choice ( big grin )... did you stick with the 13 or did you move up to 14/15. you put so much work into the LP... or do you still have it?

SC300Es Dec 6, 2014 07:34 PM

No disrespect. I like what you do to your cars, but isn't it tiring to put all that work into your last car and two years later do it all over again to a similar car? You're not to only one to do it either.

Btw, it bothers me if I have to spend more than five minutes at the tire shop to get a flat fixed.

Not really, keeps me busy I don't do the work. Most of the stuff on the other car was taken off was gonna be put back on but I told them to wait for spring, couldn't wait. Truthfully wasn't my intention to get out of the car so quick they offered me a great deal and I took it.

I'm not usually one for vinyl wraps, but I believe you've created a good case as to why I should be.

Coilovers even, wow! How's the ride compared to stock?

How high are your fenderwells f&r center above the ground now? I'm wondering where your ride height actually is vs stock, or how much drop you got going.. those are stock tires still yes?

The vinyl wrap would work nicely for them holes I have drilled in the front bumper for the license plate mount by the dealer too, how much did that run if you dont mind me asking?

This car looks sweet, nicely done!

The ride is perfect had them on my other GS and its worth every penny and its the only one that works with the avs in our cars. Not sure on exact height will measure in garage tomorrow since its raining all day will be doing some work on car emblems. The drop is pretty significant I can post a pic of before and after to show the height difference. Yep main reason I did it vs leaving it alone. It didn't cost me much around $150.

So you went J5? Those are the only coilovers that work with the AVS right?

(Do TRDs from Japan work with it? They are crazy expensive though)

Thanks for the info, coilovers AND avs sounds like the perfect combo, I can see why you'd opt for it!

My car still has just 300 miles and I am thinking the springs may settle a bit, but it just seems to ride a bit too high for my liking right now.. especially after seeing your ride here!!

Really thinking about that vinyl now too, any possibility to get a closer up pic of that front grill?
