the design is pretty ugly and looks dated, and it just isnt comfortable to use. My friends Jeep Wranglers UI/OS is miles better. This is def a issue Lexus needs to address imo
I feel like the updated UI in the 2015 is better though. Definitely "looks" more expensive. I think Lexus tries too hard on making it "easy" to use, but Audi MMI is the best though.
Wait, are you talking about uConnect? That is a total POS unless they've magically updated it this year...
I replaced my uConnect unit with a Pioneer as soon as I could. The Lexus interface is pretty much average for the class (better than Mercedes, worse than BMW).
Then again all car OEM systems are pretty mediocre...
Im kinda surprised to see a discussion of jeeps on a lexus forum, but im not complaining. Here's what takes up the 2nd spot in my garage: ) She's a 95' so her UI ( non existant ) doesnt compare to the 2015 lex : )
As far as intuitive functions and layout goes, Infiniti, with their fanned option screens, wins hands down for me. Things are where you expect them to be. A dial with an enter button is simpler to operate while driving than a mouse.

But I always felt the controls were in an awkward position. Too far and too high. They also didn't have good looking menus.
