Why are u guys putting alpine type r, kicker. Rockford stuff In your cars. Spend some money and buy brands like audison, hertz, focal, morel, dynaudio, arc audio, helix, brax, jl w6v3, jl w3 shallow, rainbow, etc!!! U want sound quality spend the money and get a box build to spec. Not some pre fab box. Your not driving a Honda Civic here.

I was reading the extremely positive reviews of the Rockford Fosgate P300-12 and thought that would be much easier than buying the JL shallow, building a box, installing a separate amp, etc... Plus I think you can just unplug most powered subs and remove them from the trunk if you needed the space.

Yes. I'm doing that install now. It's over here.
Yet another subwoofer amplifier install project! Any advice?
Will post up some pictures and opinions later.

Agreed. I'm adding Anderson quick disconnect to my JL and Apline combo. This way I can have JL quality with Rockford convenience.

No need to down talk people. Some folks have different goals. I think have an efficient, cost-effective removable sub matches this car's personality perfectly. Provided it's done tastefully, of course.

Not down playing but I'm jus trying to help. U can get good deals if everyone look hard. U can get sloppy bass or nice sound quality bass and yes different woofer has different sound
