Default Driver's Sun Visor

Do many of you owners use the slotted opening in driver's side sun visor for license, registration, etc?

I always thought it was a handle to extend the visor easier. But I read somewhere that it's a card holder.

Never knew there was a slot either. LOL And I keep all my stuff in my wallet. I'm required to carry like 10 cards around. I have the Costanza for a wallet. hahahaaa

I do have the slot in mine but don't think I have the extension that some may have. I use it for docs but strange thing is that is that it is a bit shallow so the docs protrude quite a bit. I would think that Lexus would have made it a bit deeper to conceal the docs for most part.

I have it but don't use it. I find it completely useless as well.

I don't use them and I'm not sure I'd ever ask anyone if they used theirs.....

I use it. Anyone who parks in parking garages where you get a slip of paper on the way in will find it useful.

I usually use the visor to hold the ticket when I'm in a parking garage. That way its accessible when I'm pulling up to pay on the way out. No digging through my pockets, the center console or glove box.

Geez, you guys need to ask a LS460 owner sometime. The slot holds your gate card to operate the unmanned, automated exit in your gated community (the entrance gate has guards with guns!). They're switching to windshield RFID systems now to get out, but you know how auto manufacturers are always a step or two behind. By the way, I didn't get this info firsthand, I heard it from some guy who drives a Ferrari...
