Talking New bumper from Sewell

I finally got my new bumper!!

I'd say the quality is 9.9 out of 10. There are some little things that makes it not OEM perfect, but at least no more holes from front plate.

Fitment is good, it is OEM bumper and paint is.. well you can see it for yourself, can't tell the difference. So if anyone is looking for a new bumper, Sewell is the best place to go.

Looks great. I wish I didn't have the bumper holes. Thinking of putting putty/filler in just to make it flat and vinyling the center piece black on mine. Color match is perfect. Silver is kind of a PITA to match up.

Thanks Jay, I'm gonna let it sit out in the sun for a week or two just so the paint can really bake and will stay on forever.

Does your bumper have 2 screw marks in the middle? That's where the actual license plate screws are at. My dealer screwed the license plate too much and it screwed on to the bumper. So I basically had 4 holes on my bumper.

they sell plugs to cover the holes, they almost look like sensors.

That's right! They're in TX and I'm in CA. I was scared as hell when I opened the box. I kept saying.. the paint better match, paint better match, please.. please..

Well I noticed that it does have more texture than the factory paint, but you can only see it when you're like 3-5" from it.

Can someone tell me if this is factory painted?

The dealer drilled holes in mine. The people who installed the license bracket over torqued the screws and dented my bumper . I had them re paint it but it doesn't look perfect and missed a spot .

I would love to buy a new one

They're not factory painted, they're painted at Sewell.

Aside from the 4 holes from the license plate, I messed up my paint really bad when trying to remove some scratches using the wetsanding method. I didn't want to spend more money trying to fix it, so I just got a new one and be done with it.

I thought about the Fsport conversion but it's more expensive and mine isn't an Fsport so it doesn't feel right to me.

Is it a visual trick or do you have some sort of glossy cover on your steering wheel?

I do have a steering wheel cover and it has a little chrome strip along the top and bottom part.
