Is it me or do the windows have a bronzish/yellowish tint? Windshield is fine.

Is it tint or dyed glass? If it's tint should it be removed before I apply my own?

I noticed that too when I got my car. It has like a transition lens on a glasses that changes color when out in the sun, but very light I think. But I tint all my windows with 30/20 anyway, except the windshield.

It's not you, there is a definite yellowish tint to the glass. I think it's an effect of the UV-blocking glass.

 

Yup as mentioned it does - it's more noticeable than most other cars

 

i think its dyed into the glass - i dont think its a removable thing, but i am no expert. i just had my windows tinted saturday. they did not remove anything, only applied the film. i ended up going with 15% on the side windows and rear window. came out really well i think. here is a pic - it looks darker then it really is in person - especially @ night @ this angle.

 

Just had the car tinted on Friday, nothing was removed from the window as far as I know.
