Just curious has anyone else replaced the " L " center cap on their wheels.

I had to replace two of them on different wheels after they fell off during driving in a 18 month period. The plastic clips that hold them on just crumbled and I lost the cap.

The wheels were not hit on curbs or pot holes. They show no sign of damage.

Had the parts manager check my other wheels and he found another one loose. Lexus is replacing this under my warranty.

The clips just crumbled like that? Damn! Usually it's near impossible to take the caps off without removing the wheels.
