Sup fellas, new member here. Just picked up an '13 gsf and looking for some wheels for it. Any recommendations on which brand for @ 3k? I've been looking at the wheels classified also but being a new member I can't post in there yet. I see a lot of vossen rolling around but would like to see other brand. Thanks.

Another question .......how does the transaction goes when you buy from the classified? Paypal and trust that the seller will send the items? Saw a couple wheels from the classified that I like.

Pretty safe to buy from CL classified. It's usually a Paypal. If the seller is local to you, then you can try to arrange a local pickup and pay cash.

Here's what I have planned for the gsf so far. JDM foglights, skipper front lip and rear roof spoiler. Painting the roof black (my gsf is white Starfire pearl) , and wheels. Debating if I should go with 20s, 21s, or 22s.

I think I may go with 19's so I don't ruin the smooth ride?? What do you think ? 20's might make it rough I have experience from my chrysler 300c..that thing cruised smooth as hell until I put 20" lexanis on it! Didn't matter which tire I could fit it was never smooth

I think 20" looks way better.

As for the brands, any brands are good (as long as it suits your taste)..... But I have Vossens on my GS.

The reason I'm considering going with 21or 22 is I don't have plans to drop the car right away. Maybe later on. Think it will look good with 20 without a drop?

Depends on what's most important to you--looks or ride comfort. I vote for ride comfort. And personally, I don't think tires larger than 18 look any different or better, and definitely provide a poorer ride.
