Cool Dipped my wheels black

So I got bored and plasti-dipped my wheels black yesterday. The 18 inch rims look beautiful stock, but the best part about plasti-dip is that I can peel it off anytime.. I'd never ruin them permanently
Took about an hour and half including waiting between coats.

I'm also thinking about blacking out the chrome trim around the windows to match.
Also on the todo list is blacking out the center portion of the front bumper to get that full vertical air-scoop/grill look.

Eventually after a few months I'll peel it off but its a nice change in looks for now.

A can is like $5 at Home Depot. I plastidipped my emblems and the rear spoiler (all with 1 can) to see how the contrast would look with LP and it looked pretty good.

Did you take the wheels of the car and spray the inner barrels or just paint the faces?

I only sprayed the face of it. Since I did this with reversibility in mind, i didn't want to make it too complicated to undo. Also you can't even tell its not painted inside because its so dark behind the wheels.

Eventually I'll get bigger wheels. Maybe then ill consider a small drop

Yeah, I tore up a trash bag for each wheel and used that. Painters tape on the lug nuts and air valve. Every few coats I would move the car a few feet to rotate the wheels 180 degrees.

I think I would have just removed the wheel at this point.
