Fog lights on without head lights
 

Anyone doing the mod for turning the fog lights on without head lights?

My 4GS non F-sport have factory fog and the ring on the light stalk. Any DIY instruction how to turn it on with parking light on or without parking light on?

Well I got the F-Sport GS and installed the fog lights ordereded from Nigel from this forum. The shop that did my install, installed the OEM stalk with the fog light on/off ring. But they wired my fog lights to a location where once the car is on, the lights come on. But I still can turn them off and on with the stalk. But they can b on with the headlights off or on. Also stay on without having the parking lights on too. So I would say ull need to rewire ur fogs to a ignition location so that once u turn ur car on, they will b on unless u turn them off.

I have a separate switch hooked up inside the coin tray. I wired the toggle switch to an ignition wire.

This is exactly I'm looking for, my is Lux with factory fogs and oem stalk so I need instruction how to modify the wires. For F-sport adding extra switch for fog seem easier. I found instruction for IS and Tundra but 4GS have different wire diagram.

You can re-wire it, so the led strip would be on with the fog lights.

Yup, all u have to do is find ur fog light wire, tap it into an ignition wire and u should b done. But Im not saying itll b easy. If anything, u should bring it to an audio shop, Im pretty sure they can get it done for u. Unless ur a DYI guy haha.
