Default Strange ticking while turning slowly

Whenever I turn the wheel there is a ticking that seems to be coming from the front wheels. You can only hear it with the windows down and going slower than 10 mph. The rate of ticks seem to speed up or slow down depending on how fast I am going around a corner. I don't have a lift at my disposal and don't particularly love going to the dealership. Is it normal?

Maybe a little pebble on the tire, happen to me when i was entering a drift in my 300zx. after i exited the corner i heard ticking noise exactly how you described, faster i go the faster i hear the ticks. So i exited the track after my cool down lap, took wheel off and notice a rock embedded in the thread of the tire. Removed it and that was the last of the ticking

Hmm I'll check the tires for any debris tomorrow. If I don't find anything I guess I'll be paying the dealership a visit.

If you dont want to remove your wheel one by one, get some one to roll your car. While your outside look at each wheel carefully untill you find something, Tell him to step on the brakes when you see some type of debris on your tire. If you dont see nothing then take it to the dealer becuase it shouldn't be ticking.

Well I checked the tires and went to the dealership and nothing was found. They said everything suspentions wise is tight. Idk if I'm paranoid now but do your wipers sit a bit high on the windshield? I'm noticing it now after I picked the car back up. I'll upload a pic when I can get to a computer.

The wipers have winter mode? Is there any way to turn that off myself? I think I can fare S. Fla. winters without it lol.

You're the man MichaelPea. It was in winter mode. I had no idea about this feature. I searched and found out all you have to do is gently push both blades at the stalk down and they'll drop back into summer mode. Thanks! I thought I was crazy lol.

My pleasure. Unfortunately, I live in Pittsburgh and I'm all too familiar with snow mode and our future here would suggest I'll be seeing it again soon
