I am still STUNNED at the amount of technology available in the new GS:

- 18 way power adjustable seats
- 10 airbags
- rear seat controls
- 17 speaker, 10 channel, 800W+ ML system with class-D amplifier
- 12.3" screen with split-screen view, smartphone integration and upgradeable apps
- tri-zone climate control with S-flow technology
- pre-collision system
- lane-keep assist
- driver monitoring system
- blind spot monitoring system
- 2nd-generation Remote Touch
- HD Radio with iTunes tagging
- night vision
- heads up display
- transmission downshift throttle blipping

All this is just on the BASE model GS. Just imagine what other technology the GS hybrid and other GS variants will bring.

You're stunned, I'm worried. I hope this doesn't put it into another price class.

Now that is REAL technology, not just some false advertising saying "technology". Not to mention its lighter than the last model and as light as cars in the class below it while also managing to be near tops in MPG and Acceleration.

Its fine not to like the design inside and/or out but there is no denying the fact Lexus really responded and pushed to the forefront with technology here.

FB, Bing, driver selector, different hues depending on mode, LED headlights, bi-xenon headlights.

I'm trying to remember it all, too much to list.

Good that you brought those up, I forgot about some of those as well .

LED headlights now available for all GS models, not just the hybrid. The hue color of the gauges changes depending on the drive mode selected.

Lexus REALLY pushed themselves on the new model. We still haven't seen all GS variants, don't have full specs like interior specs or fuel economy specs either, let alone specs of the upcoming variants. Fuel economy is said to be improved by quite a bit !

This has me super-excited for 2012 . The next-gen Lexus models are going to really silence the haters and the critics, and really surprise the competition.

to be clear, i think a lot of those would be OPTIONS and not standard (i would be damn surprised if so), so doesn't matter if it's base gs350 or gsh

Yes, most would be options of course. My point was that GSh and GS F for example would bring additional technology not listed here. Most of these options likely will be available for all GS variants, but there might be some technology specific to each variant.

I like the new tech, but some of it is just long overdue. Whats missing is also around view cameras like the ones used to see out on the sides for intersections.

in the intro reveal video, it says the GS was road tested 1,000,000 miles. In the 2008 C class commercials, it said the new C class was road tested 14,000,000 miles. haha
