Default Reminder - Daylight Saving Time Ends - Clock Adjustment

Be Ready! Have the correct time tomorrow!

Daylight Saving Time officially ends Sunday morning (November 2rd) at 2:00 a.m. For those of you with early model year (2013, 2014, 2015) 4th Gen GS 350s don't forget that you have two (2) changes to make to your Lexus:

(1) Setting the Lexus analog dash clock back one hour, and
(2) Turning 'Off' the DST for the Navigation system (except for Hawaii and Arizona that don't observe DST).

In the past, many owners with early model year GS350s were unaware that the Navigation system did not automatically change to/from DST.

(1) Change the Lexus analog dash clock by setting the time back one hour.

(2) Turn 'Off' the DST for the Navigation system. To turn 'Off' DST in the NAV system, go to Menu > Setup > General > System Time > Daylight Saving Time > Off > Save

With the correct time setup for your car's General System Time - it allows the Navigation system to provide an accurate Estimated Arrival Time to your destination...

Note: This 'On' and 'Off' Daylight Saving Time change is made in the General setup - not the Navigation setup.

Hope you enjoy the extra hour of sleep!

Turning off DST fixed my clock too. One step instead of 2.

I've got an error where the date is off by a day. I reset my oil light on the 31st and it said 11/1 as the recorded date. I can always just go back and record the correct date, but it's kinda annoying. Any idea on how to manually set the date?

I don't use those reminders. Since your recorded date is off by just one day (10/31 vs. 11/1) it shouldn't be a major issue, but if it bothers you that much and you simply can't live with it - hopefully you can find a way to correct it...but I suspect it's tied (synced) with the NAV's time/calendar. What's one day in the life of an oil change!
