Default Using Auto Hold Feature

Last month I traded in my 2106 IS 200t F Sport for a 2018 GS 350 F Sport AWD. I love my GS and enjoy the options my IS didn't have and the V 6 power.
I have been using the auto hold feature and I'm wondering if using it presents potential problems regarding pre mature brake wear.
Any thoughts?

Compared to you manually holding the brake with the brake pedal?

Pure speculation, but Toyota being Toyota I would presume that the feature would have been thoroughly tested to ensure that it lasted a long time, otherwise it would not have offered it.

Then again, we do have those AC actuator issues...

Use it without any concern at all...

Enjoy the GS!
