Fluid Replacement
Nope!
Allow me to provide an absolute undisputed proof-of-fact about this matter straight from Lexus.
The official Lexus Manual in TIS (Technical Information System) for the 3rd Gen GS states the following:
'Periodic checks and replacement of the transmission fluid are not required.'
Here is the Lexus TIS Explanation of Maintenance Items - with specific attention to Transmission Fluid - for the 3rd Gen Lexus GS.

Also add..... that it shows to service it for the same engine, trans, and fluid in other countries verified by owners other than the US one here posted on CL.

Taken from TIS:
Transmission Fluid:
Transmission/Transfer Case:
Inspect transmission/transfer case for
signs of leakage. If you discover any
leakage, have it repaired immediately
by a qualified technician.
Note: The transmission/transfer case and
transmission fluid are a completely sealed unit.
Therefore, Periodic checks and replacement
of the transmission fluid are not required,
and there is no dipstick on the transmission.
Any repairs that require adding
or replacing fluid should be performed
by a qualified technician following
procedures in Lexus service
and repair publications.

I live in the United States in North America. I'm not interested in what might be recommended if the car is driven in the Outback of Australia, or the desert of UAE.

Aisin makes the transmissions and they recommend servicing them. Common sense says every other car company includes ATF services, so why is Toyota different?
By the way, what is lifetime? Who's lifetime? Methuselah? Till the transmission dies?

I’ve asked in past threads on this same topic that members not continue to post the same arguments and content they have already posted in the many past threads
asking again, in the future just link to your posts (in one single reply) rather than repeat the same thing over and over in dozens of threads. Keep it topical to this specific generation GS
