Unhappy Low Key Fob Battery

I have changed the battery several times, but I keep getting a low battery. The Key fob also does not perform correctly. Does not lock the car with one press of the lock button! Sometimes it does not work at all. I am not sure why this is happening.

The terminals inside of the key fob have probably gotten dirty or the springs have lost there spring tension. Open the key fob, grab a qtip and alcohol clean the copper terminals and all contact points. Then with a small screw driver bend the springs slightly so they give better clamping force on the battery. Make sure you are using top quality batteries, and not no cheap aftermarket.
