I started with a cylinder 1 misfire. Fixed it with new fuel injector. Now we got check vsc and cylinder 4 misfire codes. Replaced maf sensor. I will post a picture and I’m hoping u guys can tell me that obviously it’s missing a grind wire to this sensor. Please tell me what sensor. Mahalo from hawaii!
Pull out the plug and see if there is still a pin terminal inside. Its possible that the sensors ground is from the motor.
Also the sensor you replaced the maf with was it a denso brand and not some cheap china sensor? Also spark plugs do you have a good denso or oem thats original and not knockoff, meaning they cost you $85-up to replace and not some $19 special off ebay

replaced all plugs with ngk , Original problem was misfire on coil 1. Replaced coil, and injector..
1 week later … misfire on cyl 4. Same problem (it seemed)
now this morning ( 1 week later again) . Problem is misfire on cylinder 2. Why is it jumping ?

Check the wiring plug on the coil, make sure its terminals are clean, make sure theres no moisture. Make sure the rubber seal is seated, this happened to me once. I rushed installing plugs and well the rubber seals didnt properly get seated in the coil plug. I also cleaned the engine bay, and somehow water found its way into those plugs that were exposed. That caused a miss fire that wouldnt go away.
Pop open all the plugs, make sure they are all seated, make sure all the pins inside are all aligned. If you find out the the seals werent aligned, I would leave the plugs unplugged for awhile to dry.
Also ngk plugs are not recommended for our cars, sure they work and shouldnt cause a misfire. But the 3gs is sensitive to plugs. Original oem, or Denso FK20HBR11 they are expensive about $12-$15 each plug. But avoid the fake oem and denso thats online
