I’ve been running into this problem for the past month or so on my 08 gs350. When I go to start my car it cranks up, steering wheel lowers, then it just turns off and steering will would go back up. Happened a few times a month ago, then I’d just try to start it again and it starts up normally. It started happening more often now, I’m going to attach a few videos. I’d really appreciate any help!

I have never seen or heard of this issue, it seems you have an electrical issue. Have you checked the obvious like battery terminals to see if there not broken or corroded. I wonder if it could be a faulty push button starter, or power that goes to it
