I'd like to upgrade my audio system a bit. I have a few questions, I hope you can help me. I have A 2006 GS300 with the standard audio, non-ML.
First of all, I see that I can grab myself some ML speakers for cheap. If I replaced only the ones I have with the ML version, I mean the door speakers and tweeters, would they fit and can the amp drive them? Do they have the same connections? And would it even be any upgrade or are the speakers the same?
Another thing is, I'd like to fit a subwoofer in place where the stock ML one would be installed. Is there everything I need behind the rear seats to install an aftermarket sub, apart from an amp and cables? Is there the same box as with ML?
And what sub size fits? 10 inch?
