Default A program cannot be read....please help

I have a '07 GS 350 with the error message a program cannot be read. Please consult to a dealer. Then followed by Japanese writing. My nav DVD player is located in the glove box on the right hand side. With the aid of your forum I was able to eject the nav disc by using the hidden buttons top left then top right on the display. I can use the functions climate, audio, info, display on the left hand side but cannot use the functions map, destination, menu.

Like I said, I was able to eject a disc and put it back in I still have the error message not sure where to go from here. I have been able to eject a disc continuously four or five times so I am able to repeat that function. I will try to add to photos of my display and the disc that is in the drive currently.

Thanks in advance for any help. Everything else about the vehicle seems to operate fine. The error messages I small irritant but it's not worth a dealer cost at this point.

I'm getting the same thing, but mine is sporadic. I bought a cheap $15 DVD off ebay. That may be my issue. It lasted a little less than 1 year
