Default No Sound Coming from Speakers 07 GS350

Hey All,

So I've been browsing through the forums looking for an answer to this but can't seem to find it. One day last week my car volume stopped working. All the volume and changing between radio station controls work, navigation screen sounds work, but nothing when I play the radio.

Here is the key difference from all the posts I have seen -> There is NO clicking sound or static or anything of that sort. The sound is completely silent unless I adjust the volume to Max(65 I think) there I hear a continuous fuzz, which I concluded is just speaker static since the volume is up so high. This is why I do not think it's my amp that's gone. However, see some possible variables below:

Here are variables I can think of that could've caused this issue:

1) This happened as I was driving home from the place I purchased my tires from. I remember my volume being loud when I dropped my car (forgot to shut off). I had a tire leaking air so they were fixing. I don't see how this can correlate to my sound going off unless the tech somehow messed with it?

2) When I parked, as soon as I shifted the gear to park, I pressed the start button to shut down my car. It was rather quick. Like car was off before I heard the gear shift completely. Could I have short-circuited the fuse by doing this?

3) It's been raining heavy where I am. Like a month of straight rain and a lot of it. I also bought coolant fluid and it was tied up in a back in my trunk. I noticed there was some leak inside the bag, maybe a little bit got onto the trunk carpet. Could this have caused moisture to get into the amp? But then why am I not getting the signs that other people have gotten with amp problems?

I think based on my 3 observations, someone should be able to give me a good idea of what's going on. Thanks in advance!

If you leaked anywhere on the right side of the trunk where the amplifier is located. More likely it would short out the amplifier, pop the side cover off the right side and unplug and clean then replug the amp back in to see if that may help. If not you might need to do more testing

Thanks for the response. I guess that is my best bet. I will try to do what you advised next weekend and hopefully, it resolves my issue. I'm thinking I'll pull the amp out, clean it, and put some desiccant beads in my trunk just in case. If it was a fuse issue, how do you recommend I proceed with that?
