My 2008 GS 350 has 170K miles.
The mirror is dull with black streaks and black dots all over it.
Will not wipe off.
I assume I need to replace it?
Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

 

You can buy new on Amazon (looks like the OEM mirror, my 11 does not have the compass)

I'm sure you can search ebay for a used one for much less. You could probably use most mirrors but you may have to spice the wires if it is not OEM style.

I got mine fixed at radar-mirror with Scott Wheeler and its been 3 years - glass is still perfect. You do need to remove it and ship it to get it fixed.
