Lexus GS300 Power Steering ECU
 

WELCOME.
I have a problem with electric power steering in the Lexus GS300 2006.
System indicator does not light up even in the moments after ignition, fuses are OK. Saw a few post from the past and people were having the same problem. Wondering if anyone ever got it fixed and if so what did you do?

Should I just swap out the ECU with and used one and get it calibrated at the dealer? or best bet is just to go straight to them?

Was there fix replacing the ecu? If it was then go ahead but if it wasnt, I would rather do some diagnosis rather then throwing parts at it in hopes of it getting fixed. You can test to see if the ecu is getting voltage at all, you can also check simply things like battery terminals.
