2009 GS350 won't start: POWER SOURCE ECU
Came out one morning and my car wouldn't start.
Pushed on brake: Green light on push button.
Pressed push button: Dash momentarily lit up. Steering wheel began to move to driver setting, then went back to engine off position. Push button turned orange.
Had to take it to the dealer where they charged me $300+ for extended diagnosis fee. They replaced the push button(another $300 added).
Car started. They asked to keep it for another day to make sure.
Next day it wouldn't start, but after pushing it back into the shop, a while later it started again.
New diagnosis: Power Source ECU. Wanted $1125 for new, free labor Opted to bring it home.
Push button doing same as before. It was never bad. It's winter with 45 degree highs.
Placed small heater under glove box. Car warmed up. Car started.
Bought used Power Source ECU off Ebay for $70.
Had to remove glove box to replace.
Running like a champ.
BTW: Had to get model# off ECU first before ordering to ensure I was getting the right one.

So the dealer charged you +$300 to replace a switch that was not bad, after charging you $300 for a diagnostics test what obviously useless. They don't call them Stealerships for nothing.
Glad you were able to fix it on your own. Hopefully reporting your experience will help others that might find themselves in the same situation.
