07 GS 350 - Need brakes tech recommendation
I got a 07 GS 350 that's been running smoothly for few years. Last time i changed the brake pads was probably around 2-3 years ago. I'm starting to get squeaky noise from the FRONT brakes after few minutes driving the vehicle. When the last time i change my brake pads, i had a friend who bought the OEM pads and he installed it himself. But a month later i started getting squeaky noise and had to take it to the dealership which they did something with the same brake pads. Possibly shaving or sort of minimal parts replacement. Ever since the brakes were functioning properly with no noise until now.
Trying to avoid the noise coming back when i get it replaced. Basically want it done correctly as much as possible. Any good Tech mechanics anyone could recommend in the LA area or Manhattan Beach area? Other than the dealership, which i'm sure will cost me a lot. Thanks!

Do it yourself, or with friends (look at the DIYs available), it's not too difficult. Just make sure to use anti-seize. For parts recommendation you can check this thread out.

Its caused by the back of the brake pads metal rubbing against the caliper body when it is pushed by the brake caliper piston.
The other reason is when people use more aggressive racing type brake pad compounds.
