this happens when something major is disconnected. I forgot what exactly has to be disconnected for it to do that but I remember when I was rebuilding my engine it did that because all the wiring was disconnected. It was accompanied by a Check 4WD warning..

Nothing was disconnected the issue just started out of nowhere. After sitting several hours it’ll try & crank one time & after that the only thing happens is the fan comes on.
Does the starter turn over? If not I would suspect that being bad and I would throw a volt meter or a test light on it and see if its getting voltage.
If the starter works and cranks over but does not start, another common issue is a bad fuel pressure sensor. You have to pull the throttle body off, and should be able to see the end of the fuel rail where the sensor is housed. Many have had l
I took the positive battery cable off for an hour & just put it back on. Tried to start the car & it tried to start but seems like enough gas didn’t go thru for it to catch (start),tried it again with my foot on the accelerator & it started. It was idled slightly high so I let it run for 5 minutes. Turned it off & it had no problem starting back up. Been using Sunoco gas station premium 91 octane & it could be the problem. Gonna switch to Shell 93 octane with a can of sea foam & hope I don’t get stranded with a non starting Lexus.
