Default Is this a factory or aftermarket unit on my windshield

weird box on windshield
Recently had my windshield replaced and this thing was hanging down. They taped it back up but I'm starting to wonder if this is even a factory thing and if so what is it?

What does it look like on the outside? It's definitely aftermarket. Probably for an aftermarket remote start system?

The rain sensing wiper sensor is behind the rear view mirror unit. Not out in the open like this. It's also not this big .

Okay. Here’s my guess. It’s an RFID for fast pass with toll roads. Was the car ever owned in a city with toll roads? They used boxes like that a few years back before converting to barcode stickers. I remember seeing them in New Jersey all the time as a kid.

I did some more research, this box is the antenna to the satellite radio. I could not find the part # for our car but here is the part number for the Highlander.
The boxes appear to be the same.
