Can someone help me diagnose the issue with my ML system? i have an 08 gs460 i just bought and the audio system is completely messed up. The left and right dash speakers rattle really bad, the front door LR speakers dont work and i believe the subwoofer isnt working. Could this be a fuse or the amp? i always have audio, just sounds terrible.

The sub on my 460 is also rattling so I will be looking into fixing the issue soon. You can either buy a used ML sub on ebay which typically cost around $300 or you can buy the foam repair kit which is the route I'll going. I'm posting a link below for reference. The speaker size for the front doors is 6.5" rated at 8 ohms. The size for the ones on the rear doors is 4" rated at 8 ohms. No clue if replacing the OEM speakers with non-OEM with the same impedance would cause any issues with the ML amp, maybe other members can chime in. I can relate to having crappy sound, so good luck.
