Smile How to Keep from Speeding?

I've had my 2011 GS350 for the last six months and I have to say--more than 40 years of driving and I've never experienced so much fun driving anything. It seems the most difficult thing I do in this car is figuring out how to keep it under 80 mph on the open road. The gears shift so seamlessly and the motor has more power than any other car that I've owned. In fact, on the interstate today I decided to pass about five or six big trucks and in about a minute, I was doing 105 mph. Wooops.

Yes, I use the old cruise control, but I have to admit, having one of these babies out on the open road and winding it out, is one of the greatest temptations in my life. Man, what a car. Good thing I waited until getting one of these at 57 or otherwise, I'd have 50 speeding tickets and probably have lost my driver's license five times.

I know, I have the same car. Don't help that 80 is the midpoint of the speedo either. Wish it at least had a distinctive marking for 55. They have some things you can plug into the OBD for teens that beep when you go over a certain speed . Wish it a digital speedo readout, at least to confirm the cruise speed. Many cars have both, the Towncar is one.
