My GPS is really outdated, and i'm looking to update it to to atleast 2015+ maps.

I saw some on ebay for 9 bucks just for the update disc, was thinking of picking 1 up and giving it a try.

You could try. It's a headache. I remember diagnosing an issue that a customer had with a bootleg copy of the Nav disk. The Nav screen became unresponsive and the map didn't work correctly.

People still using their car GPS these days? I don't really use it anymore.

If you getting the bootleg copy one and it doesn't work, u have 2 options
- go to dealer to fix it
- get the real legit DVD nav

I picked up the factory DVD used from the market place here a few years ago- it added new roads, highways, etc. By today's standards, the GPS interface doesn't seem too dated IMO especially considering it came out in 07.

I actually still prefer to use the in dash nav vs Waze or Google Maps. One less thing to hold and drive plus it is easier to glance at the dash screen instead of looking down into the cup holder.
