Default Remote start

I am also looking for a remote starter for my 08 GS350
I was told by my local installer that the one he has I would need a second remote,
I am not crazy about this and would like one remote , the factory remote ...
If I have to go with anything other it would be a cell phone....
Suggestions?
Thanks

did you ever find a solution for this? I'm looking for one for my 2010 GS.

There is no option that I know of except from the dealer I believe to remote start with the OEM remote. I just finished installing a Fortin Evo One alongside a Fortin RF642W range kit. It has full take over with the extra remote.

How easy is the install on the Fortin Evo One? I have the kit laying on my desk for a year but I haven't got around to installing the unit. I still need to flash the unit before installing.

The install is not hard at all. Just make sure you either solder or tap the wires directly and tape or heat shrink them good. I used the quick taps and even though they work you can have connection issues. I literally had to pull my panels back of at least 3 times and just have them taped up real good for now. When it gets warm I plan on soldering the connections. The guides on Fortins site are good but the programming sequence for my model year were incorrect. What year is your GS? They guide is slightly different btw the years.

The install for your car is different from my car but it's not any harder.

Not that I know and I've searched before I chose the Evo One.

How did you remove the push button start to wire the 3 leads?

On my 2010 you don't remove the push button those wires are on a connector behind the glove compartment. It seems like your button will pop out like any other trim piece that's held on by clips.
