Default 2007-2009 gs350-450 display screen

Is it possible to upgrade the main screen in the gs? the clarity of the screen is so outdated I cant stand it. I can still see when im backing up, but I wish it was a lot better.

anyone ever done this?

I don't know what you mean by this but try to drive other 2007-2009 cars of any make, then you'll appreciate the screen in your car.

I know the screen is great for the year it was made, but compare it to the standard screens go into standard cars like camry, optima, accord etc

Those screens are 10yrs old using graphics available at the time.

- consider this, the very first iPhone was released in 2007. The subsequent phones and screens that followed featured absolutely gorgeous screens with graphics that popped out. My point is, our screens are products of their time. No way in my view to upgrade them beyond buying a newer car. If you want fancy new graphics, try the aftermarket route.

thank you for reply.

I figured aftermarket was the only way to go, but then you lose the stock look. stock is typcally cleaner imo
thanks again

There is no possible way to "update the screen" which is integrated into your Lexus console.
Any aftermarket supplier claiming to be able to do it should be given a very wide berth...
