Never used to do this but seems to do it more and more frequently? Anyone else had this issue and if you fixed it?

Is your car lowered? Who uses CD's anymore ?

No just stock suspension, I guess I could try taking all of the cds out. I don't really use them but it still shuts off the radio too occasionally

Even when the radio is without cds inserted it shuts off? does it as well when listening to FM radio?

I will check the fuses, maybe the radio one is a bit loose? I will also remove the radio from the center and check that all connection at the back are snug and without corrosion, not a bad idea to give it a good clean with contact cleaner.

Also check your speaker leads, well in case of the GS its a plug, check them and clean them, they might be loose... and finally at the trunk check your amp connection and see if there no water getting near the amp, sometimes if your tail lights are not sealing properly water can get inside the trunk area specially near the amp.
