What about the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio? That thing is breathtaking, its like a poor's man Ferrari (not that poor actually, but you got me)
This thing happens to be in the place #40 at the Nurburgring fastest laptimes, next to Porsche 911 GT2, Mercedes SLS AMG GT, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Pagani Zonda and The Shelby GT350 just like that..

All right this is an interesting topic to see what other 3th genners are up to afther their car. I absolutely love my GS450h in every way but there is one serious issue with it ... trunk space. Even my friends Corsa has more space. I really really think that it's a big failure of Lexus to not offering a Brake/Shooting Brake version of the GS. That is why for my next car it will be probably a Merc E hybride Estate. Here in Europe, specially in Belgium big engines are very very very heavy on taxes. I pay about 2000 usd every year just on road tax and currently they are making new rules that limit your access to big cities based on the CO2 emission. I also like the Merc CLS Shooting break from the previous and first generation (please don't hate me now).
On the other hand my son is becoming mad when I tell him I want to buy a Merc he absolutely wants me to by a second hand LS600h and I must admit ... My God What a machine it is. However I'm afraid prices for parts are even more expensive on that one and the GS is already demanding

I bought a used 2002 Subaru wrx as a daily b/c I my GS was more on the tamed/luxury side, the GS is perfect for me as a weekend car. But being that I work nightshift, driving home in the morning that's tamed & rides on clouds, really made me more sleepy. That's when I purchased the wrx, if only the GS came stick shift, I wouldn't have bought the daily.
Thinking about a 5th gen wrx sti in manual, in other words something fun. I'll still keep the GS for days I wanna drive a bit in class, the wrx will be more for fun.

Infinitis are definitely fast cars but I kinda don't like the quality of their interior, it feels cheap.

Don't laugh. Chevrolet Spark EV. Just bought one and it's a blast to drive. Fully electric with 400 ft. lbs. of torque! Cheap to buy and cheap to own. I was spending $350/mo. in gas. Now I just charge it at home.
