Tires GS350 - Time for new shoes
Been awhile since I've been on the site... so probably asking a question that has already been addressed a ton. Sorry! My baby GS350 '07 needs a new pair of shoes. I have Michelin Super Sports but that model seems to be discontinued. Looking for some positive recommendations for a tire that scores well in performance, low road noise, looks, and durability (can get me 30K miles), Appreciate any feedback as I need to get new tires this coming weekend.

GS07Cali,
Are you sure the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are discontinued? I bought a new set from the Raleigh Lexus dealer (Johnson Lexus) in late January. I'm real happy with these summer tires. You may want to call your local Lexus dealer and see if they can still hook you up if you liked your old shoes.

Michelin replaced the Super Sports with the Pilot Sport 4S, they're supposed to be better in every performance category than the PSS. I would get those if you're happy with the PSS you currently have

Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum - https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...unflat%20Tires
Very quiet tire and works well wet or dry (I'm in SoCal and frequently drive canyon roads). I have 41,000 on them with 4/32 tread remaining on all corners (they get rotated every other LOF). Never needed to re-balance or re-align. They replaced the OEM Yokohama that lasted only 17,000 miles. I'll buy again when that times comes.

New Tire Idea
I purchased some BF Goodrich G-Force Comp 2's and they have really impressed me. BF is owned by Michelin and these tires are a steal at about $125 each. Costco and Discount tire can get them for you. I was running the Continental DWS which were good but slightly slow in response. If you liked the Michelins think about the G Force. I used to think BFGoodrich was for raised letter Trans Am and truck tires, not anymore.

Thanks all for the feedback. I found a nice deal on the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S (great reviews). $200 a tire with a $70 rebate thrown in by America's Tire in Ontario, Ca. Thanks Jeramy.
Enjoyed researching everyone's suggestions... All the tires mentioned had great reviews and nice looks. Glad to find some new shoes to show off tonight!
