Default Ecm-ecu came back fine so whats prob

I bought a gs350 08' from a friend who had Toyota put a starter in for 700$ and wanted 3k more saying computer needs replaced. I bought it. Drove it fine till it rained. Then it would start Once kill instantly. Then not try to start and cooling fans would stay on even though all cold still. So. I send off the com for repairs just in case. They tell me today its testing fine over and over can't find any problem with it.

You guys just don't know how much I'd appreciate any help on here. Bc I have no idea where to go when it gets back (the ecu) so since I can't find any answers to this same problem. Just other ppl looking for answers. Thanks for any and all responses.... I definitely don't need a yard ornament lol

I would check your ignition coils on the car. Moisture used to wreck havoc on this component when cars used to come with distributors. Most car nowadays don't anymore but the ignition coils is the upgrade now and play the same role. I would check for any possible cracks that moisture can get into and effect it's operation.
